Delete your Nearhood account
You can delete your Nearhood account at any time.
How to delete your account
In the app
Go to Profile → Delete Account and confirm. Your account is deactivated immediately and deletion is processed as described below.
If you've uninstalled the app
Email [email protected] from the email linked to your registered mobile number, or message us on WhatsApp at +917090112358, and we'll process the deletion for you. We may ask you to verify your registered mobile number before we proceed.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove the personal data you provided, including:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your saved addresses and flat/unit details
- Any listings you created
- Your profile photo and, if you were a seller, your seller profile and door photo
What we keep, and why
Completed order and payment records are retained for up to 24 months to meet tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations under applicable Indian law. After this period they are permanently deleted or anonymised so they can no longer be linked to you.
How long it takes
